Loza Maléombho

Loza Maléombho is here to connect contemporary fashion with African aesthetics. She was born in Brazil and raised in Côte d’Ivoire and the United States. The brand is based in Côte d’Ivoire and she works with different artisans to share their work within her collections.

Kahmune

Anima Iris was created by Wilglory Tanjong, who was inspired by matriarchs like her mother and Africa’s rich history. She’s traveled throughout Africa and taken the traditional clothing and art from different countries to inspire her work.

We can’t let you dress all the way down in Black-owned products without recommending any Black owned beauty brands! Here are some we recommend:

Mented Cosmetics 

Mented Cosmetics has the range for foundation and lipsticks that we have been waiting for our entire adult lives. On those nights out and fancy dinners during your vacation, you can rest assured knowing you’ll have the perfect coverage and nude lip. 

Juvia's Place

Juvia’s Place will have your skin at its best and give you the pop of color you expect from a makeup company. They carry vibrant eyeshadow colors and long-wear lipsticks. But if you prefer neutral shades and a more natural makeup look, they also have that available as well.

Bolden is a skincare brand focused on Black and brown skin. This is a Black women-led company who were empowered to create skincare products that meet the needs of women of color.

BLK/OPL
